Throughout September, Applejack Hospitality’s Neutral Bay venue, SoCal, will cross the bridge to Bondi and take over of its sister restaurant, Bondi Hardware.

Bringing SoCal’s range of food and drinks to the beachside location from 3 September, SoCal Hardware will feature Mexican, North American and Californian-inspired share plates as well as tacos, quesadillas and ceviche, served alongside tequilas and margaritas.

Daily specials will feature throughout the month including Mezcal Mondays, Taco Tuesdays and Wing Wednesdays.

In preparation for the take-over, Bondi Hardware will undergo a short renovation, which will combine the look and feel of both the Bondi and Neutral Bay offerings.

Hamish Watts, director of Applejack Hospitality said “For SoCal Hardware’s renovations, think bright, airy, beachy and fun.  The fitout will be a-la-SoCal, complete with festoon lighting, bunting and hot paint colours. The bar itself will be getting a makeover, and the overall look and feel of the venue will be refreshed, clad and improved to fit the vibrant theme. A tonne of Cali-vibe plants and ornaments will adorn every spare nook and cranny.  We even promise to have at least one bicycle hanging in the venue.”

The Neutral Bay SoCal restaurant will operate as normal throughout the month.
