Three well regarded ladies of the hospitality industry will be taking part in this year’s Women in Foodservice charity event, being held as part of the annual Fine Food tradeshow later this month.

Launching last year, this year’s event will be hosted by Joanna Savill, who edited the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food Guide for the eight years leading up to December 2014.

She will be accompanied by the Women in Foodservice guest speakers: Anna Polyviou and Laura Neville. Polyviou is the executive pastry chef at Sydney’s Shangri La hotel, and Neville has worked in London and Melbourne in both the kitchen and front of house. Her company, Kerala’s Ways, is  currently filming a TV pilot in southern India.

The morning tea, which will not only allow attendees to hear these women’s stories and learn from their successes, will also provide a unique networking opportunity, with a gourmet breakfast and sparkling wine included.

All profits from the event will be donated to food rescue organization, OzHarvest, and the P.A.R.T.Y. program, which aims to educate Australians on how to reduce alcohol and risk-related trauma amongst the youth.

The Women in Foodservice Charity will be held on Tuesday 22 September from 10.30am  to  12.30pm at the Pullman Sydney Olympic Park. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit: http://finefoodaustralia.com.au/women
