Chefs across Australia are being asked to share photos of their beefy lunchtime dishes, with entries for the #whatsyourbeef competition closing this Friday.

Hospitality magazine, in conjunction with Meat and Livestock Australia, has launched the #whatsyourbeef industry competition, to encourage chefs to think creatively about their lunchtime beef dishes.

We’ve launched the #whatsyourbeef website, which is full of recipe suggestions and advice on how to use a variety of cuts, and is a great source of inspiration for chefs keen to beef up their lunch menus.

For your chance to win a Marco Pierre White signed cleaver, a $250 King of Knives voucher and editorial coverage in Hospitality magazine, all you need to do is take a photo of a beef dish currently on or going on your lunch menu (and of course comprising beef as a key ingredient), tag it to our Facebook page, Twitter and/or Instagram account with the hashtag#whatsyourbeef, and share!

The competition will conclude on 2 October, with finalists announced later on next month. A panel of judges will then visit the finalist’s venue to taste their beefy creation, with the #whatsyourbeef champion named in November.
