Online and mobile takeaway service, Menulog, has relaunched with a new app and online platform set to boost orders for restaurants and enhance the ordering experience for consumers.

The online platform and app features new branding, an optimised design and an improved user experience for both customers and restaurants.

More than 1,500 restaurants have recently joined Menulog – boosting its partner restaurants to 7,000 – including Bavarian Bier Caf, and Vino e Cucina, which is now offering home delivery.

The new features, such as two-tap checkout for returning customers to order their favourite meals, a new and improved card experience, and simplified navigation are expected to attract more customers to the platform.

Menulog’s marketing director Kim Russell said, “An integral part of our brand relaunch was focussed on improving the online platform and the app. The new design enables restaurants to showcase their menus more effectively, and consumers to order from menus three times as fast. We’re confident the new platform will significantly improve the user experience for our restaurant partners and customers.”

The new app and platform are being promoted through an integrated national marketing campaign that leads with the concept ‘What do you feel like?’ and includes TVC, sponsorships of prime time TV shows, radio, OOH, digital, social, PR and ambient activity.

“This relaunch represents an exciting new direction for Menulog in Australia.  With 7,000 restaurants on board and an enhanced online platform, we’re confident that Menulog has the ability to match the diversity of meals our restaurants offer to the meal preferences of Australians every day,” said Kim.
