The Rockpool Group comprising Neil Perry, David Doyle and Trish Richards will be opening their second Burger Project venue in Sydney next week.

Located within the MLC Centre, the official opening date of the new venue is Monday 9 November. The space has been designed by the Rockpool Group’s leading architect Grant Cheyne and is similar in look and feel to the Group’s first Burger Project venue which opened in October last year at World Square. Accommodating up to 80 guests, the venue features a large open kitchen and relaxed seating.

The menu will be almost identical to the flagship venue with 10 burgers on offer, fries, ice cream desserts, real shakes and thick shakes, house sodas and a small, hand-selected list of wines and beers.

“We’re excited to be opening our second Burger Project amongst good company in Martin Place,” says Perry. “We’re getting great feedback on our burgers and looking forward to delivering the same great quality and service for more Sydney siders to enjoy.”

“…It really is fast food with slow food values; we use 36 month grass fed Cape Grim beef with no additives, no hormones and it’s cut, minced and rolled into patties by hand daily.”

Burger Project is set to expand further over the next 18 months with three openings in Sydney (Gateway October 2016; Parramatta January 2017; and Broadway early 2017) and two in Melbourne (St Collins Square March 2016; and Chadstone September 2016).
