Following the closure of the Sydney Entertainment Centre (more recently known as the Qantas Credit Union Arena) this week, hundreds of coffee machines, ovens, refrigerators, bar furniture are now up for auction.
The auction will be conducted by O’Maras Valuers & Auctioneers with managing director, Tim O’Mara stating that the unreserved auction is designed to clear out all the equipment used during events and corporate functions at the venue.
“We have caf chairs and bar stools, commercial refrigeration and cooking equipment, even the forklifts, tools and trolley jacks that would have been used to load in some of the massive sets for shows held at the arena over the years,” says O’Mara
“The sheer scale of the equipment for auction would be ideal for large caterers or function centres looking to add to existing equipment or to upgrade. We welcome all bidders.”
