Sydney Olympic Park’s The Brewery has new interiors, menus, craft beer, entertainment and a new name.

The new-look Brewery Bar + Kitchen has launched with updated interiors including new furniture, outdoor seating, lighting, wall fittings, plants and staff uniforms to move away from its former reputation as a ‘blokey sports bar’ and attract a more diverse clientele including families, females and millennials.

New menus have been launched by recently appointed executive chef Nicholas Blair who has joined The Brewery Bar + Kitchen from international establishments including the Shangri-La Pudong East Hotel as well as Fairmont and Intercontinental hotels in Asia.

Blair has introduced a medley of small sharing plates and tasting boards, plank pizzas and big plates, which cater to a wide variety of tastes and hunger levels. Dishes include a warm duck and coconut salad, the Arabian plank pizza and the spicy ‘Sichuan’ style pork.

The Brewery Bar + Kitchen will also offer daily specials to entice local residents and businesses to visit mid-week, including: $10 pint and schnitzel on Mondays, $12 pizza planks on Tuesdays, beer and wine tasting on Wednesdays, and ladies night with a selection of fresh fruit cocktails, which will be accompanied by a live DJ from 5pm on Thursdays.

The venue will serve up its own craft beer, Brick Pit Cream Ale. Locally brewed by Breakaway Brewing, Brick Pit has been fine-tuned by ‘master brewer’ Logan White to create a mellow, smooth session ale, enhanced by a soft, fruity character. Brick Pit Cream Ale matches with new menu items ‘The Brewery Schnitzel’ and ‘The Sneaky Cheesy’.

The Brewery Bar + Kitchen is located on the lower ground floor of the Novotel Sydney Olympic Park hotel, positioned between the Olympic Park train station and ANZ Stadium. On special event nights, the venue can extend its service areas for up to 5,000 people.

Opening hours are Monday to Saturday from 11:00am until late. Open Sundays on an event day.
