Now in its third year, the two day VIN Diemen event will showcase the quality of Tasmania’s food and wine industry with an extended line-up of the island’s leading vintners and providores.
Presented by Wine Tasmania with support from Tourism Tasmania and Bottle Shop Concepts, VIN Diemen will return to Sydney and Melbourne this August.
This year sees a host of new and returning faces, including Sharman’s wines who will join familiar producers such as Domaine A, Tolpuddle and Bay of Fires in showcasing Tasmania’s Sparklings, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
Cider and spirits will also be profiled, including products by the Abel Gin Co., Strait vodka and gin and Willie Smith’s Organic Cider.
This year’s event also features a greater collective of farmers and makers, with exhibitors including Bruny Island Cheese Co., Shima Wasabi, Meander Valley and Nichols Poultry.
Over 800 members of the public attended the event in 2016.The full line up of producers will be announced in the coming weeks, and tickets will be on sale from 13 June.
