One of Adelaide’s oldest suburban pubs has relaunched after undergoing renovations.
The Sussex Hotel is in the midst of an extensive redevelopment, but has debuted a fresh new look and menu after the completion of phase one.
“We are delighted that stage one of the reno is now complete, but want to reiterate there is more to come,” says Sussex Hotel’s Piers Schmidt.
“The renos have included an external face lift, thanks to a lick of new paint colour on the original façade, and the front bar has also been dealt a design makeover.”
The front bar now features a range of craft beer and wines and a new kitchen team has been brought in to revitalise the food offering.
The menu now focuses on local ingredients alongside pub classics and a new pizza menu, which will launch in line with the arrival of a new pizza oven.
