After three years as one of the Central Coast’s favourite bar and dining venues, Rhonda’s has relaunched with a fresh new look and menu.
After a quick renovation, the Terrigal restaurant is officially back open with a greater focus on modern Italian food and top quality service.
“The last three years have been great, but Rhonda has grown up, traveled abroad and now she is ready to share her new vision,” says co-owner Ty Van Emden. “With a greater focus on food, a higher level of service and more family orientated space, we hope to bring the community together for regular relaxed dining and bright complimentary Italian driven cocktails.”
The menu has been curated by operational partner Richard Wagemaker and will feature wood-fired Roman-style pizza, handmade pasta, antipasto and homemade gelato.
Highlights from the new menu include prosciutto parma, burrata mozzarella, basil pesto and bread wedges; King prawns with chilli, garlic, lemon and thyme; squid ink fettuccine, blue swimmer crab, chilli, garlic, cherry tomato and basil and gnocchi, pork belly, porcini, consume of parma ham and truffle oil.
Rhonda’s new drinks menu has been curated by Quynh Nguyen (Fred’s, Charlie Parkers, Matteo, Monkey’s Corner, China Diner and Luis Tans) and features a refreshing selection of Italian-inspired drinks using fresh ingredients. There is also a selection of Italian amaros and vermouths within the collection for guests looking for a true taste of Italy.
Local interior designer Kazzi.D has recreated the space with a vision to bring the outside in with a fresh and bright new palette. Diners can drink and dine downstairs at the bar and restaurant or experience the new rooftop alfresco space upstairs.
