The remaining six venues for Darling Square’s Makers Dozen food precinct have been announced.
Hopper Kade, Fishbowl, Fish & Co, Bau Truong, Bubble Nini and Boque by Tapavino will be joining Saga Lyte, Pasta Wafu and more on the ground level of Kengo Kuma’s The Exchange building.
Hopper Kade was previously operating out of Darlinghurst, but has found a new home in the precinct. The same goes for Mr. Bao, which closed its York Street location in May 2018.
The Makers Dozen outlet will mark the 12th store for Fishbowl, the second store for Bubble Nini and Fish & Co and the third for Vietnamese eatery Bau Truong. The Tapavino brand currently has three outlets in Sydney, with Boque influenced by the La Boqueria markets in Barcelona.
Makers Dozen is described as a reinvention of the food hall experience and has a 350-seat capacity. The precinct is scheduled to launch mid-2019 and will be open from morning till night seven days a week.
