Royal Palace Seafood Restaurant has officially opened to the public in the former Golden Century location in Sydney’s Haymarket.
It’s the second venue for Royal Group, who also run Royal Pavilion on Sussex Street in the CBD.
The restaurant covers three levels including private dining rooms and a functions space, with a total capacity for 600 guests.
The first level caters to a la carte diners for lunch, dinner, and late-night meals until 3am, with the second level dedicated to yum cha service, and the third level catering for private events.
Live seafood is a key part of the menu, with tanks located on the first floor filled with lobsters, mud crabs, pipis, and coral trout.
Alongside classic seafood dishes, expect all the classics including honey-glazed char siu, Peking duck pancakes, cheung fun, har gau, and siu mai.
Royal Palace is open seven days a week and until 3am Thursday to Saturday.
