Registrations for the 2016 Nestl Golden Chef’s Hat Award close Friday 6 May.
Current champions, Georgia Harrison and Amanda Polsen have just left for a tour of South Africa on their winners’ culinary trip. “Being involved in Nestl Golden Chef's Hat Award makes you push yourself to the next level. It’s a great opportunity to meet other people in the industry and get your name out there,” said Harrison.
Australia’s longest running culinary competition for young chefs, the Nestl Golden Chef’s Hat Award is dedicated to helping junior and apprentice chefs develop their cooking skills and broaden their culinary horizons.
Regional winners will cook-off against some of the country’s best chef talent in purpose built kitchens at the National Final in Melbourne this September. Candidates will compete live in front of Fine Food Australia attendees, with medals available across entre, main and desert course categories.
This year’s national winning team will be awarded a culinary trip to North America.
Register at enter.nestle-goldenchefs.com.au. Entries close11:59pm AEST on Friday 6 May 2016.
