Malaysian restaurant PappaRich has opened its first Brisbane venue in the CBD’s Wintergarden Shopping Centre.
The new venue’s menu includes freshly made Roti Canai; Hainan bread with kaya (coconut jam) and butter; Nasi Lemak; various laksas; an extensive range of noodle and rice dishes; and a variety of traditional desserts.
The dishes reflect the diversity of Malaysian cuisine, with influences from Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines.
The restaurant’s interior is designed to create a casual atmosphere, with the open plan layout giving diners the chance to see their Roti Canai being prepared.
PappaRich was established in 2005 with the opening of its first restaurant in Malaysia’s capital, Kuala Lumpur. The new Brisbane venue brings Australia’s total number of PappaRich outlets to 20, with restaurants in Victoria, the ACT, NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia.
PappaRich Brisbane is now open on level one of the Wintergarden Shopping Centre, Queen Street Mall, from 11am-9pm every day.
