Vitasoy is adding almond milk to its Caf for Baristas range, officially launching it at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo (MICE).
Made from whole Australian almonds that are sourced from the Murray River and Riverina regions, the new Caf for Baristas product has been developed in response to consumers’ growing interest in and demand for plant milks.
The milk is unsweetened, contains two percent fat, is dairy-, lactose, gluten-, and soy-free and has no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives.
It’s been developed to steam on the wand, produce latte art and provide a balance of almond and coffee flavours, and while at MICE (Thursday 17 March – Saturday 19 March) Vitasoy will educate baristas and caf professionals on how the new almond milk is best handled, as there are particular “tips and tricks” to getting it right, the company says.
