Maximilians Restaurant, located in the Adelaide Hills, has recently reopened with a new team, a revamped menu and extensive renovations.
The restaurant now features 250 seater function pavilion, open plan ‘dining on the deck’, and an entirely new team including head chef Jamie Laing. Several new dining and socialising areas have also been created in addition to a cellar door arrangement with Sidewood Estate.
“Maximilians has always been an iconic destination,” says Andrew Friebe who took over the restaurant two years ago together with Emily Kneebone.
“The original restaurant – with a few subtle changes – remains, but importantly we’ve expanded and improved. We opened up the deck adjacent to the Sidewood Cellar Door with views overlooking the valley. We have [also] expanded capacity with our pavilion, and our menu is a lot more reflective of today’s style with several dining options including more casual and lighter meals as well as a la carte – all fresh and local of course” says Friebe.
Maximilians has also expanded its dining options to include lunch Wednesday to Sunday and dinner Thursday to Saturday.
