One of Australia’s largest independently owned and operated coffee roasters, Merlo has announced that it will be opening two new stores in Queensland and expanding into Victoria.
Indooroopilly and Victoria Point will be home to the new QLD venues, and the first Melbourne caf will set up shop in the Queen Victoria Markets.
Merlo’s Melbourne Torrefazione will feature all the signature and special blends, custom equipment and will roast on site and is expected to open by the end of the year.
In addition to the openings, the company has also recently completed the major refurbishment of two current stores: the flagship Fortitude Valley Torrefazione and the Springfield venue.
The opening of the new cafes will see Merlo’s portfolio increase to 12 venues.
