The Newington Inn in Petersham will relaunch in October as Public House Petersham, boasting a Bushwick inspired aesthetic.
Bushwick is a rapidly gentrifying working- and middle-class neighbourhood in the northern part of the New York City borough of Brooklyn, and it’s the source of inspiration at the new Public House Petersham, which houses street art designs, a shipping container beer garden, community built herb garden and a new menu featuring wood-fire pizzas and a range of craft beers.
Public House Petersham licensee Amanda Veratti said “We are thrilled to be able to give the old Hotel a new lease of life, where people can meet and socialise over a fantastic range of beverages and food that is made to be shared.”
A member of Solotel’s hospitality group, the venue will open early October with the official re-launch 'Backyard Brew' event on Saturday 24 October, in conjunction with Sydney Craft Beer Week.
