Capriccio Osteria in Leichhardt has appointed Nicole Bampton as its new head chef.
Bampton previously worked as chef de partie at Tetsuya and Sepia, before becoming head chef at Lucio’s. Her passion for quality Australian produce and the flavours of Italy has led her to create a new series of modern food events at Capriccio Osteria in Sydney’s Little Italy.
The first partner event will be on June 28 and will feature a five course menu matched with Stockade Brew & Co range of craft beer.
“At Capriccio, I want to play with the menu and take our diners on a culinary journey. Expect quality, traditional Italian staples with unique Australian twists,” said Bampton.
