Munich Brauhaus, Bavarian Bier Café and The Bavarian will celebrate Oktoberfest for six weeks beginning on Saturday 16 September.
The annual festivities begin at midday at Munich Brauhaus The Rocks in Sydney, Munich Brauhaus South Wharf in Melbourne and Bavarian Bier Café Eagle Street Pier in Brisbane with ceremonial tappings of the first Oktoberfest bier kegs, which signal the commencement of inaugural Oktoberfest street parades in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
Throughout the six-week celebrations, feasting menus are available at all Rockpool Dining Group’s Bavarian restaurants across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane for group bookings of 20-plus guests. Smaller groups can choose authentic Bavarian a la carte favourites including crispy pork knuckle, golden crumbed schnitzels, roast pork belly and traditional sausages.
All Bavarian restaurants will serve the four Oktoberfest biers throughout the festival: Löwenbräu Oktoberfestbier, Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier, Paulaner Oktoberfestbier and Spaten Oktoberfestbier.
