QT Sydney has welcomed Grant King as its new executive chef to oversee the food offering across the hotel’s dining outlets.
King was previously executive chef at Sydney’s Pier Restaurant and more recently owner and chef at Gastro Park and The Antipodean Restaurant.
He brings with him several notable accolades, including Gault Millau chef of the year for 2017.
“This is an exciting chapter in my career, an opportunity where I can work closely with an outstanding brand and break the mould of typical hotel hospitality,” says King.
“I look forward to bringing flairs of my gastronomy past to this new role at QT Sydney and creating an environment that is a whole lot of fun for both our customers and staff alike.”
King’s initial focus will be on QT Sydney’s signature restaurant Gowings Bar & Grill, where he will evolve the menu through the concept of garden, earth and ocean.
