Brisbane is set to get a new café, with Kuhl-Cher Coffee opening on 19 June on King Street at the Brisbane Showgrounds.
Owners Antony Forbutt, George Angela and Peter Kaselakis have worked in the industry for more than 15 years and have a number of venues located across Queensland and New South Wales.
The venue will offer a breakfast and lunch menu along with takeaway options such as sandwiches, salads and sweets.
Coffee will be roasted and sold on-site, and customers will be able to enjoy a brew bar, that will showcase a range of brewing techniques.
“We’re really passionate about creating more than just another café,” says Forbutt.
“Coffee has been integral throughout history as a point of communication and relationships and we look forward to continuing this legacy by creating a unique meeting place for relationships to develop.”
Forbutt has also confirmed that education and tasting sessions will take place at the venue, “allowing customers develop their knowledge and passion for coffee”.
Kuhl-Cher will open seven days a week from 5.30am to 5.30pm.
