Hospitality‘s Restaurant Leaders Summit is fast approaching, with just five days left to secure your ticket to the industry’s premier event.
Taking place at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Melbourne on Monday 30 July, the Summit will see leading operators, chefs and industry experts discuss the latest industry issues and trends and provide valuable business ideas and insights.
The first-class speaker line-up includes Scott Pickett (Saint Crispin), Liz Rodriguez (Grossi Restaurants), Jonno Forbes (Dinner by Heston, Melbourne) and Hannah Green (Etta) who will speak on nailing recruitment, training and retention.
Peter Gunn (IDES), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), Frank Camorra (MoVida) and Simon Blacher (Commune Group) will discuss how and why you should diversify your offering, while Jeanine Bribosia (The Cru), Monica Brown (Lotus), Abby Islas (Huxtaburger) and John Flower (HotHouse Media & Events) will present a marketing masterclass.
The Summit will also include an exclusive Q&A with Chris Lucas (The Lucas Group), a talk on how to focus for greater success by Chris Helder (business specialist and author) and a presentation on how to boost profitability through pricing and psychological intelligence with Bertrand Jeanpierre (Simon Kucher).
Other panels include Old-school operators vs millennials, Supercharge your alcohol sales, Mental health and wellbeing in the industry and Future trends for 2019.
Kate Reid (Lune Croissanterie), who will speak on the Mental health and wellbeing panel, says she is looking forward to discussing such an important topic with her peers.
“I believe we all experience some form of mental health issue in our life, just on a sliding scale,” she says. “For some it is only temporary and others live with it their whole lives. Increasing the awareness can only improve support channels and make work and life better for everyone.”
Delegates will be given the opportunity to ask the speakers their burning questions at the end of each panel. Tickets also include morning tea, lunch and networking drinks.
