Mark LaBrooy, Darren Robertson and Andy Allen from Three Blue Ducks are joining forces with the some of country’s top chefs for a collaborative dinner to raise funds for Australian farmers doing it tough in the current drought crisis.
The dinner will take place on 4 September at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery and all money raised will be donated to Rural Aid.
Joining the cause is Clayton Wells (A1 Canteen and Automata), Monty Koludrovic (Icebergs Dining Room + Bar and The Dolphin), Matt Stone and Jo Barrett (Oakridge Wines), Mat Lindsay (Ester, Poly), Duncan Welgemoed (Africola), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), James Viles (Biota Dining) and Andy Bowdy (Saga).
“It’s heartbreaking to see what is happening across the state and as chefs, we work so closely with these farmers and producers that we have to do our part and help them out in some way,” says LaBrooy.
Guests will be treated to a four-course dinner showcasing the chefs’ signature dishes from their respective restaurants and venues.
A selection of wines, beers and cocktails curated by Tim Phillips of Bulletin Place and Deadringer.
