Sydney Brewery Surry Hills has opened its doors, serving up local brews and a beer-led food offering.
Located on the corner of Albion and Mary Streets, the brewery is the first location for Sydney Brewery, serving up local brews such as Albion Ale (brewed on-site), Surry Hills Pils and Darlo Dark.
The food menu has been designed to pair with the beers and ciders on offer, and will feature a range of pub dining classics and signature dishes.
Menu options include slow-cooked beef ribs in sticky porter BBQ sauce; Paddo Pale bratwurst with Sydney Cider red cabbage and garlic mash and the Sydney Cider mussel pot with aioli and crusty bread.
Owner Jerry Schwartz says the brewery celebrates the local community.
“Surry Hills is an ever-evolving and thriving community of residents and businesses and we wanted to celebrate this with a local craft-brewery offering, a great spot for a casual lunch or after work drink, whilst also giving locals the opportunity to take home a fresh growler of Sydney’s best beer,” he says.
