Mitchell Waugh’s Public House Management Group (PHMG) has revealed the group has exited their arrangement with Mosman pub The Buena.
The management agreement with venue owners the Fallon family was not extended beyond their three-year contract, which has now concluded.
The partnership was put in place to launch The Buena and Bistro Moncur Mosman. PHMG worked with the Fallon family to spearhead a full renovation and staff the venue with high-quality chefs and bartenders.
“We are tremendously proud of what we have achieved in re-establishing The Buena as the heart of the community and fulfilling our brief to introduce the Fallon family to the hospitality industry,” says Waugh, CEO of PHMG.
The Sydney-based firm also announced reinvestments into the Woollahra Hotel and the Royal Hotel Paddington.
Woollahra is set to relaunch in early 2019, with the Paddington location scheduled for mid-to-late 2019.
“Our team has been working on multiple refurbishments for the past six months and will continue to do so for the next year,” says Waugh.
“The Woollahra Hotel will see the introduction of a new hospitality concept. Our Royal loyalists in Paddington can also look forward to some upgrades to the Elephant Bar and Rooftop.”
