Inner West pub The Duke of Enmore is set to reopen after undergoing an extensive revamp.
The pub has been spearheaded by James Wirth, Michael Delany, Joel Amos and Chris Deadman, who have worked on venues including The Norfolk, The Oxford Tavern, The Forresters and DRNKS.
Referred to as the Duke, the team say guests can expect everything you want from a pub including cold beers, natural wines, cocktails, share plates and plenty of room to relax.
The menu revolves around Aussie and English pub classics, with Toby Wilson (ex- Bad Hombres, Ghostboy Cantina) running the kitchen. Highlights includes porchetta, whole roasted cauliflower, Nashville school prawns and meat plates from LP’s.
The wine list will be extensive, but accessible. “The wines are clean, fun and easy drinking. But there will be some more interesting wines on the list and every week we’ll showcase something new bythe glass,” says Amos.
Cocktail options include allt he classics such as G&Ts, batch Manhattans and Nergronis teamed with more adventurous drinks including the Golden Pear Spritz (pear, procescco, soda) and The Wizzarde (becherovka, JD, walnut butters, choc bitters).
The venue is slated to launch on 11 December.
