The Grounds of Alexandria is set to open a 200-seat café in Everleigh in 2020.
Located in a locomotive workshop within the Australian Technology Park, the venue will be called The Grounds Roastery.
Owner Ramzey Choker says the interior will resemble courtyards found in European and North African villas. There are also plans to install skylights in the space to cater for greenery.
The space will feature a coffee roastery, a research and development lab, mezzanine level and espresso and brew bars.
No word on the food offering just yet, but word is the offering will be casual.
The Roastery will mark the third venue for The Grounds, which operates in Alexandria and the Sydney CBD.
