The Hunter Culinary Association will host the annual Food Fight on Monday 17 June at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.
The long lunch has been dubbed ‘The Ledbury All Stars’ as the four chefs participating in the event have all worked alongside Brett Graham at The Ledbury in London.
Thomas Boyd (Margan), Troy Crisante (Quay), George Mirosevich (Restaurant Mason) and Eilish Maloney (ex-Saint Peter) will each cook a dish of their choice which will be matched with Hunter Valley wine.
The winning dish will be selected by popular vote from attendees and revealed at the end of the lunch.
“Each of these talented chefs has trained under the legendary Brett Graham at his acclaimed London Michelin-starred restaurant, so guests will be dining at an incredibly high standard,” says Gus Maher, HCA chairman.
“The Food Fight, and its signature auction, supports our region’s young chefs by giving them the opportunity to work with Brett in London through the Brett Graham Scholarship which we undertake in conjunction with TAFE NSW.”
The event is open to industry and members of the public.
