Three Blue Ducks are set to expand into Melbourne with the launch of a restaurant at Urbnsurf Melbourne.
It marks the fifth location for the brand and will be one of the largest Three Blue Ducks venues for the group yet.
“We’re beyond excited about this new venue and bringing our brand to Melbourne to showcase our passion for good and honest food,” says co-owner and chef Darren Robertson.
The venue will open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and offer indoor and outdoor seating.
While menu items haven’t been confirmed just yet, the kitchen will feature a pizza oven, rotisserie and charcoal pit, and the team – comprising Robertson and chefs Andy Allen and Mark LaBrooy – has already started exploring the region and meeting with local producers, wineries and breweries.
The restaurant will also make use of an on-site kitchen garden which will grow herbs and Australian native ingredients such as salt bush and lemon myrtle.
The venue is set to open this summer.
