Taste Dining Experiences have revealed a three-month lineup set to launch in September.
On 26 September, Auckland-based chef and restaurateur Al Brown (Depot Eatery and Oyster Bar, Federal Delicatessen) will team up with Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz to cook a six-course meal at Porteno’s Surry Hills events space which will champion the asador technique.
Yardbird’s Matt Abergel and Momofuku’s Paul Carmichael will come together on 20 October to showcase a collaboration of Caribbean and Japanese flavours, with Danny Bowien from Mission Chinese Food cooking alongside Long Chim’s David Thompson on 19 November.
Diners will also enjoy two Tanqueray gin cocktails and free-flowing Sapporo beer at each event.
Tickets for Al Brown’s x Porteno’s dinner are on sale now, with tickets to the October and November events going on sale consecutively after the previous month’s event has taken place.
