Nathalie, Edouard and Antoine Reymond have opened their latest Melbourne venues, Frédéric and Fred’s Bar.
Located in Cremorne, the new opening features two adjacent venues with Frédéric offering modern European cuisine and Fred’s Bar serving up a more casual experience throughout the day.
“We’re really excited about bringing something new to the thriving Cremorne area, with a unique, dual-space offering that takes diners from breakfast through to dinner,” says Antoine.
Head chef Nick Deligiannis has created the food offering for both venues with influences drawn from France, Spain and Italy.
Frédéric is all about steak with diners able to choose accompanying dishes from six seasonal specials.
Guests can look forward to dishes including grilled octopus with black garlic mayonnaise, mussel powder, pickled corn and radicchio along with potato waffle with asparagus, hazelnuts and smoked goat’s cheese.
On the flip side, Fred’s offers all-day dining from pastries and 5 Senses coffee in the morning to small plates such as zucchini and leek quiche and fried rockling baguette with slaw and tartare sauce available from 11:30am.
Beverage manager Tim O’Donnell has curated the wine list which will offer Australian and European varieties along with craft beers and spritz.
Frédéric is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Friday and dinner on Saturday.
Fred’s is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am and from 3pm on Saturday.
