Melbourne has a new Indonesian restaurant in town with the launch of Yoi! on Franklin Street.
The family-run business is helmed by Ibu Lie Tjoa and her two sons Dion and Michael Sanusi.
Yoi!’s offering is based on traditional Indonesian flavours, with Dion and Michael taking the culinary influences they grew up with and giving them a modern twist.
Menu items include mie tek tek (fried noodles), soto (creamy curry), mie ayam warung (chicken noodles), satay and wagyu beef rendang.
Yoi! also has a range of martabak, Indonesian stuffed pancakes, on offer, with flavours including Nutella and cheese.
The drinks list is equally as authentic, with kopi gula and avocado shakes available.
The 45-seat restaurant is open from 11:30am seven days a week until late.
