High profile chefs Mark Best, Dan Hong and Matt Moran are headed to Adelaide for the 2020 iteration of Tasting Australia.
The trio have been appointed ambassadors for next year’s event, to be held from 27 March to 5 April.
“Matt, Dan and Mark share the philosophy of the festival and that is very important to us when working with industry talent to share our story and strengthen the narrative nationally,” said festival director Simon Bryant.
“We expect the events that Matt Moran, Dan Hong and Mark Best are involved with on the Tasting Australia presented by RAA Travel program to sell quickly due to their national foodie following.”
Best, Hong and Moran join fellow ambassadors Peter Fraser, Justine Henschke, Jessica Hill Smith and Sacha La Forgia.
In September, changes to Tasting Australia’s creative team were announced with outgoing programming director Jock Zonfrillo replaced by guest programmers including festival patron Cheong Liew, as well as Karena Armstrong, Paul Baker, Adam Liston, Emma McCaskill, Morgan McGlone and Duncan Welgemoed.
The festival, which launched in 1997, will feature 10 days of eating and drinking experiences that showcase South Australian produce and wine.
