Sydney hospitality group Merivale is back with a new platform – Merivale at Home.
While the doors to the group’s restaurants remain closed, diners can now get their hands on food from Fred’s, Mr Wong, Totti’s, Bert’s and Vinnie’s Pizza.
The group will also sell fruit and veg produce boxes from suppliers such as Poulos Bros., Parisi, Havericks and drinks selected by Master Sommelier Frank Moreau and Group Bars Manager Sam Egerton.
“Merivale At Home has been in the works for a while now, but we haven’t had the
time to bring it to life,” says Justin Hemmes, Merivale CEO.
“Now, with our regular operations on hold due to government restrictions, and our chefs and sommeliers craving new creative outlets, we have been able to fast-track the launch and deliver it at a time when our guests need it most.”
Customers can choose from five rotating menus, priced between $70-95 for two, which will see diners finish off the meals once they’re ready to eat.
Dishes including Dan Hong’s king prawn wontons in supreme broth, Mike Eggert’s pappardelle with lamb ragu and Danielle Alvarez’s whole roasted cauliflower with smokey paprika, turmeric and garlic butter.
Moreau has curated matching wines for each menu and Egerton is busy making pre-batched cocktails including martinis and negronis. The sommelier team will also be available to provide suggestions and can even open the ivy cellar for special requests.
Orders for this week are due by midnight 6 April.
