Chargrill Charlie’s has launched a new community initiative which will see the chicken concept offer dishes from other venues.
Dubbed Local Flavours, the platform provides operators with the opportunity to reach new customers.
Redfern’s Kepos Street Kitchen is one of the first collaborations, with dishes including falafel, hummus and beef meatballs with Moroccan tomato ragu all available at Chargrill Charlie’s in Rose Bay and Woollahra in Sydney.
Meanwhile, the chicken brand has put out an open call for other businesses to get in touch through the website or social media to discuss jumping on board with the initiative.
“We really want to show our support for friends and peers in hospitality and make it through the other side together stronger than ever,” says Ryan Sher, co-owner of Chargrill Charlie’s.
“We have the technology and the customers base and want to help in the best way we know how.”
