Chargrill Charlie’s has announced the next round of their Local Flavours series.
Sydneysiders will be able to get their hands on a Lasagna Al Forna by Merivale chef Sam Young and Bar Bstardo’s Enrico Tomelleri this week.
The dish is available for $25 for delivery and takeaway at Chargrill Charlie’s locations at Rose Bay, Woollahra and Annandale.
While you’d usually find Young in the kitchen of Lotus, the venue has been closed for the past few weeks after the government introduced stricter operating restrictions.
The chef says he’s grateful for the opportunity, which has allowed him to get back into the swing of things.
“Thanks to this incredible opportunity, I get to put a lot of joy in people’s life during quarantine and I would like to use this time to help out as much as … possible,” Young tells Hospitality. “We are all in this together.”
It’s the second week of venue collabs for Chargrill Charlie’s, with Redfern’s Kepos Street Kitchen the first venue to jump on board.
Chargrill Charlie’s will continue to work with venues, with chefs and operators encouraged to reach out over social media to discuss potential collaborations.
