Lennox Hastie’s Firedoor is back open for business with a new digital marketplace and takeaway menu.
The Fink-owned venue has been closed for the past few weeks, but the team have been busy preparing a new offering.
Fireshop is a marketplace of ‘almost ready’ meals, produce and curated ingredients which customers can buy online and pick up at the Surry Hills restaurant.
Firedoor favourites including pipis with XO and karkalla and Murray cod with pil pil are once again available alongside new additions such as kangaroo sausages with bush tomato sauce and sweetcorn with smoked butter and fingerlime.
Diners just need to finish off the dishes at home following the accompanying instructions.
Fireshop is also selling produce, wine, house-made smoked butter and sauces and other ingredients such as Messina milk, Pioik bread and local eggs.
And if you’re really serious, seasoned hardwoods are also available.
Orders are available to pick up at Firedoor every Friday between 2-4pm starting 1 May.
