David Moyle has taken on a new role as chief of food at Byron Bay restaurants Harvest and Barrio.
The chef joins the group after time at Longsong in Melbourne and Franklin (now closed) in Hobart.
Moyle will focus on spending time with staff, researching new concepts and learning the ropes at both venues before making any changes.
Co-owner Tristan Grier says the team are looking forward to continued growth.
“We’re excited to have Dave on board as we build our brands and our concepts, while expanding the offering for our local community and visitors to the area,” says Grier.
Moyle’s appointment comes with the continued integration of Barrio and Harvest’s offerings, which include Barrio cantina and restaurant, Wild Harvest restaurant, bakery, deli and Sparrow coffee.
“We plan to ease into the changes, ensuring everything is in flow,” says Grier.
