Venues, catering, and events companies from across the country have been recognised at the 2023 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus National Awards for Excellence.
The annual awards program acknowledges venues and companies across the country in both regional and metropolitan areas for their service and culinary offerings.
The awards programs features various categories for both formal and casual dining across a range of cuisines.
Winners of the major awards included Events at SkyCity (Adelaide) for caterer of the year; Le Coin Bistro (Red Hill) for casual dining of the year; and Sydney’s Quay as restaurant of the year.
Other venues who received acknowledgements include Sydney’s Bopp & Tone and Mr Wong; South Australia’s Pipers of Penola, Watervale Hotel, and d’Arry’s Verandah Restaurant; Brisbane’s Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill; and Western Australia’s Sandalford Wines Restaurant and Dusit Cottesloe.
“To achieve Gold, Silver or Bronze in the National Awards is a testament to each recipient’s hard work and dedication to their craft,” says R&CA CEO Suresh Manickam.
“These awards are only made possible by the hard work and dedication of our industry peers. Their ongoing support and enthusiasm for what we do is deeply appreciated. We look forward to hosting our Awards for Excellence program again over the course of the coming year.”
Venues are invited to enter the awards online, before a finalists list is determined and judged by the National Restaurant and Catering Evaluation System (RACES).
