Masala Theory has expanded and will open its second location in Sydney’s Bondi Beach tomorrow.
Following its Surry Hills outpost that opened in 2017, the latest location will serve all the Masala Theory favourites including the venue’s signature curry bombs.
Chef Sreekanth Munnangi has curated the menu which will feature a range of Gujarati-inspired recipes plus Indian street food dishes and snacks.
Some of the highlights include dhungar chicken tikka masala; ricotta bonda and strawberry curry; coal-smoked mango lamb chops; and South Indian moilee with toasted coconut sauce, turmeric, fennel, and saffron.
Guests can also expect three-course non-vegetarian, vegan, and vegetarian set menus.
“Over time our Masala Theory menu has grown, as the Neo Indian food we serve no longer has boundaries,” says Owner Yashpal Erda.
“We always strive to celebrate the vast landscape that is India which continues to inspire me and push me to try new dishes, ingredients, flavour and textures.”
Masala Theory Bondi Beach will open tomorrow at The Hub UG4, 75-79 Hall Street, Bondi Beach, New South Wales.
