The Italian restaurant and bar has opened in Gordon located on Sydney’s North Shore.
Former Firedoor and Ormeggio Chef Francesco Iervolino is spearheading the venue which sends a nod to traditional Italian cuisine and woodfire cooking techniques.
The Bar Infinita menu features a range of Italian share plates, pastas, antipasti, and also a selection of woodfired steaks utilising the venue’s pizza oven.
Highlights include grilled octopus with romesco, shishito peppers, and ‘ndjua; squid ink tagliolini with mussels, prawns, and cuttlefish; plus a Riverina black Angus T-bone Fiorentina MB2+ with mushroom puree, caramelised baby onion, kale, and rosemary jus.
The drinks offering continues the Italian theme with tipples such as limoncello; an Amalfi Sour; plus a tiramisu-inspired espresso martini.
Bar Infinita’s wine list has been crafted by Giorgio de Maria of Paski and Giorgia de Maria Fine Wines.
Giant Design Consultants (Rengaya, Oborozuki) are behind Bar Infinita’s design which is inspired by old-school Italian wine bars.
Bar Infinita is now open for dinner Wednesday to Friday, and for both lunch and dinner on weekends.
Bar Infinita is located at 10 St Johns Avenue, Gordon, New South Wales.
