Albert Park Village in inner Melbourne is set to welcome new neighbourhood wine bar Wally’s next month.
Wally’s is the work and long-time dream of Owner Baxter Pickard, who is also behind online wine shop Grapeful.
As expected, Wally’s will host a wide-range of local and international wine producers across its offering, with a focus on organic, biodynamic, and artisanal labels.
Alongside drinks, Head Chef Damon McIvor (formerly Waxflower and Vex Dining) will produce a European-inspired food menu for Wally’s.
Guests can expect French- and Italian-style share plates plus steak and pasta on the menu.
Wally’s will seat 25 people inside, and will also host an additional, dog-friendly, al fresco dining space.
Pickard has worked alongside Studio a.mi for Wally’s design which will take cues from classic French venues.
Wally’s is slated to open in April at 67 Cardigan Place, Albert Park, Victoria.
