Melbourne’s cult croissant brand Lune has found a new Sydney home in Rosebery’s Engine Yards.
Lune was originally slated to open in Darlinghurst, however the team made the call to move to an alternate site.
“Due to unforeseen delays with Darlinghurst, we’ve shifted to a new location in order to keep our plans on track and honour our commitment to bring the Lune experience to Sydney in 2024,” says Founder Kate Reid.
“The Rosebery site aligns perfectly with our vision, and we’re excited to have that opening in sight.”
The location is currently undergoing renovations, with Lune set to open its doors this August.
Visitors can expect all the iconic pastries the brand has become known for from morning buns to cruffins and kouign amanns.
The croissants will naturally be in high demand, with each pastry made by hand over a three-day period, with Reid continuously tweaking the process to ensure the most premium product.
It’s gearing up to be a big year for Lune, which will open another location in Martin Place that is on track to launch concurrently.
The two Sydney stores join Reid’s Lune portfolio of three Melbourne stores and two in Brisbane.
