The Japan Rice and Rice Industry Export Promotion Association (J.R.E) invites hospitality professionals to attend the Rice & Grain Delights Fair on 16 September.
Held at Crown Plaza Melbourne, the Rice & Grain Delights Fair will cover a seminar on the latest cooking and food trends, live cooking demonstrations hosted by Japanese Iron Chef Ikuei Arakane, and provide attendees with the opportunity to network with leading Japanese food exporters.
Attendees will be able to sample rice, rice flour and rice flour products, sake, and rice crackers that are all produced in Japan, with exporters available to answer questions.
Meetings with exhibitors (30-minute sessions) are available for attendees to book in advance, with attendees able to learn more about the following suppliers:

- Hachidaime Gihey Co. Ltd (rice)
- Iris Ohyama Inc. (packed cooked rice and mochi)
- Zen-Noh International Corporation (rice and sake)

- Ninki Inc. (sake)
- Hakutsuru Sake Brewing Co. Ltd (sake)
Full event timetable:
- 11:40am-12:30 pm (opening/masterclass session)
- 12:40pm-4:10 pm (business session with sake/rice tasting)
- 2:10pm (live cooking by chef Ikuei Arakane)
- 4:10pm-5:00 pm (networking time)
Attendees are welcome to attend the whole day or drop in on any part of the program
