The finalists for the 2017 WA’s Best Steak Sandwich competition, organised by the Australian Hotels Association (WA), have been announced.
“The response has been fantastic,” said AHA(WA) CEO, Bradley Woods. “The steak sandwich is an icon on any menu and loved by many because it pulls together home style cooking, locally grown produce and still allows for creativity.
“WA has talented chefs and dedicated hospitality business owners and this competition is a great way to showcase talents and build customer loyalty.”
More than 60 venues entered the competition and eight finalists are going forward to compete in the cook-off.
The Country and Perth finalists will compete on 16 and 17 May respectively, at Crown Perth.
