Menulog has partnered with delivery start-up, Drive Yello, to assist with its home delivery service.
With more than 7,600 restaurants in its network, Menulog has traditionally worked with restaurants to deliver meals, but the new partnership with Drive Yello will allow more restaurants to offer delivery and will also allow customers to track their food from the moment it leaves the restaurant.
Alistair Venn, managing director, Menulog said “Menulog and Drive Yello share enormous synergy, with each brand providing a different side of the value proposition for Australian businesses and consumers. Menulog aims to make food discovery exciting for all Australians by providing a huge range of options for people to choose from. In turn, our restaurant partners have access to millions of hungry Australians across the country. Team this with Drive Yello’s goal of facilitating seamless delivery for local restaurants and you have a winning combination.”
Launching in Sydney in 2015 and Melbourne this year, Drive Yello is a delivery management platform and marketplace that connects restaurants with drivers. When a job is posted to the Yello app, food and drink businesses are provided with a trackable driver and vehicle.
