Melbourne-based chef and restaurateur Scott Pickett is set to open Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie this September, at Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market.
Located on the corner of Elizabeth and Therry Street, the modern deli and rotisserie, designed by Hirsch Bedner Associates, is a spin on the classic market deli.
Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie will have an early morning breakfast offering, as well as lunch available to eat in or takeaway. It will transition into an post-work bar for evening cocktails, wines by the glass, cheese and charcuterie alongside a succinct dinner menu.
Pickett said “My very first memory of Melbourne is visiting the Vic Market and tucking into a grilled Bratwurst before the footy. I’ve always been enchanted by the market’s bounties and have many friends and suppliers here.
"It’s a special moment for me to be able to now work alongside them with my own offering at this unique Melbourne destination. And it’s great to be part of the next and exciting phase of the re development of the Queen Victoria Market precinct."
Pickett’s Deli & Rotisserie will trade seven days a week from 7am to 11pm.
