Specialty coffee roaster, Campos Coffee has been exclusively invited as the only Australian owned roaster selected to be part of the first residency program at the La Marzocco Caf in the KEXP Studios, Seattle.
Launching on the 2 August, each roaster selected takes control of the caf and bar to showcase their brand and offering.
Raf Bartkowski, director at Campos Coffee believes the residency will showcase to the world how good Australian Specialty coffee really is.
“Our coffee is getting noticed, and Australia is being acknowledged as much for our coffee, as for anything else we do. We’re both humbled and proud to be entrusted with this opportunity to showcase some of the best Australian roasted coffee to the world,” he said.
As part of the month long residency, Campos Coffee will showcase their multi-award winning flagship Superior Blend together with a selection of Single Origin coffees, including the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Goro, which was awarded a 94 by Coffee Review in June 2016. Baristas will serve up the ‘Aussie’ Flat White, along with specialty coffee such as Affogatos, Double Ristretto, Piccolo Lattes and Cold Brew.
Bringing a little taste of Australia to Seattle the Campos Coffee residency will serve a selection of bites including Vegemite and smashed ‘Avo’ on toast and condiments including premium Australian Manuka Honey, Grounded Pleasure’s Organic Panela sugar and couverture dark chocolate, from Coco Chocolate.
The Campos Coffee relationship with La Marzocco started over a decade ago with a single caf and one La Marzocco coffee machine in Newtown, Sydney Australia. Today there is a La Marzocco coffee machine in every caf serving Campos Coffee.
Campos Coffee will be in residency at the La Marzocco caf and showroom at KEXP Studios, Seattle from the 2nd August through to the 27th August 2016.
