Crown Sydney’s a’Mare is set to host an exploration of Italian cuisine with their long lunch series across April, June and July.
a’Mare’s Alessandro Pavoni will be joined by Giovanni Pilu (Pilu at Freshwater), Lucio Galletto (ex-Lucio’s), and Armando Percuoco (ex-Buon Riccordo) across the three lunches.
The menu will focus on each Italian chef’s origins, with Pilu focusing on Sardinia, Galletto on Liguria, and Percuoco on Naples.
“I am excited to be partnering with the chefs who have shaped Italian dining in
Sydney for over four decades,” says Pavoni.
“Lucio and Armando were both at the helm of Sydney institutions when their restaurants were in operation, so it’s special to get them back in the kitchen for diners to again enjoy their cooking. I couldn’t think of a better place to be working with them and Giovanni than the kitchen at a’Mare.”
The Italian Maestro’s Long Lunch Series will take place on 30 April, 4 June and 30 July.
